My reason has always been because I live in Australia. Halloween here is nothing compared to what it is in America, so I've never really bothered with it, but this year has made me want to put more effort into it. I follow so many amazing and creative DIY and food bloggers that have come up with a plethora of awesome Halloween-themed content, and it has made me fall in love with this holiday.
Whilst I did post one Halloween recipe, I was far too focused on Christmas to really bother with my own Halloween content this year, so I am going to share some of my favourite Halloween finds with you instead - and I promise that I will try harder next year to embrace this holiday for what it is: a whole lot of fun! I hope you enjoy these posts as much as I do.
🎃 My love for these bubblegum skull cupcake toppers proves that my goth-yet-girly 14-year-old self is still living somewhere inside of me.
🎃 It was really difficult for me to choose my favourite Studio DIY costume for the year, but ultimately the bubble bath family costume took the cake. Arlo is a LOOFAH, and Belly is a RUBBER DUCK. I don't know if anything will ever top that!
🎃 I really want to start wearing flats again just so I can make these super cute google eye shoe clips to put on them.
🎃 Mini trick-or-treat bag cakes. My heart can't handle this.
🎃 Aww Sam's Halloween were also incredible this year - just like every year! - but her letter board one is so in style!
🎃 This is easily the most unique Halloween costume I have seen by far - and I love it.
🎃 2017 was definitely the year of the rainbow for me, so these rainbow pumpkins are right up my alley!
🎃 Crepe paper has become my new best friend ever since I started making piñatas, but I completely forgot about its other decorative uses!
🎃 Anything that brings more pink into a holiday is a-okay with me.
Until next time,
PS. How on point are my Jack-o-Lantern dot points?! Sometimes I really do love my brain 😂
